"The Way It Happened"

This piece was devised and performed by a cast of 16-18 year olds . The play centres around the relationship between two teenage characters Mary and Dave and flashes back in time to events which lead to a rather violent ending. The themes of physical abuse and alcohol are raised in this issue-based piece and the cast had much input in the  character development and storyline. The play was devised in workshops over a ten week period and  came to fruition in front of an invited audience in June 1997.
